Hello everybody!
Today I'm going to write about something very important. The topic today is friendship, relationship and our society. In our english-class we listened to three different songs/texts. They were all about the individuals our society and that we have to focus on the fact that no one is really alone, we stand together as equals.

We listended to these three texts:
"No man is an island" ,by John Donne
"I am a rock", by Paul Simon (one half of the duo "Simon and Garfunkel)
"You'll never walk alone", by Rogers and Hammerstein
The texts are quite different but at the same time so alike. "No man is an island" tells us that we're alle a part of something bigger and we stand together. "I am a rock" sends the message that it hurts when a friend/lover betrayes you or "breaks your heart". "You'll never walk alone" is probably the most holy song ever made to the dear Liverpool supporters. It sends a clear message: You will never walk alone! There is always someone by your side to support you or guide you.
