Then – then is used either as a time marker or with a sequence of events
Than – than is used in comparative
statements. For example: He is taller than you
Which – as in what kind
Witch – a witch is a magical woman
who rides on a broomstick and wears a black, pointy hat
Through – from beginning to end or
from in to out or out to in or finished
Threw – threw is the past tense of
the verb 'throw'. He threw the ball, I threw him out
There – just stay there
Their – the dog is theirs
They’re – they’re or they are rich
To – to Jessica, from Holly
Too – I need new pants too, I do too
Two – one, two, three, four, five,
six, seven, eight, nine, and ten…
Lose – is when you for example lose
something, lose a game, lose yourself
Loose – When something is loose, it doesn’t
quite fit (The task was to find our own definitions of these different words so each and every one of us would remember them when we use them in texts)
